What to expect when filling out your Business (KYB) application
Paysavo's business verification (KYB) application is a fixed sequence of steps grouped into eligibility, identity, addresses, business activity, documents, ownership, and declarations — your progress is saved step by step and you can continue from another device.
Verifying a Paysavo business account (KYB, "Know Your Business") is done through a structured application made up of a fixed set of steps, grouped into a few stages:
1. Eligibility — confirms your business type and jurisdiction are supported.
2. Identity — legal/trading name, entity type, incorporation jurisdiction, registration number, tax ID.
3. Addresses — registered address, and operating address if different.
4. Business activity — website/description, industry, primary account purpose, source of funds, expected monthly volume, and (only for higher-volume or money-handling businesses) estimated annual revenue and high-risk activity/geography questions.
5. Documents — formation and ownership documents.
6. Ownership — beneficial owners, control person, and owner verification.
7. Declarations — sanctions/PEP/AML declarations and agreements.
8. Review and submit.
A few steps only appear for certain businesses — for example, the annual revenue question only appears if your expected volume is high or if you indicate your business handles customer funds or acts as an intermediary. You will never be blocked by a question that doesn't apply to your business.
Saving your progress
Each step is saved individually as you complete it — you don't need to finish the whole application in one sitting. Your application status moves between:
- Draft — still being filled in.
- Ready to submit — every requirement is satisfied and you may submit.
If you start the application on one device (e.g. web) and continue on another (e.g. mobile), Paysavo checks that your edits aren't based on stale data. If the application changed elsewhere since you last loaded it, your save is refused with a version-conflict message rather than silently overwriting what you or a colleague already entered — reload the application to get the current version, then re-enter your change.
