Sending money internationally on Paysavo
How sending to a different currency works: you get a live exchange rate, it's re-checked again when you submit, and the payout method is matched to the recipient's currency.
Sending money internationally on Paysavo uses the same Send Money flow as a local transfer — the difference is that your source wallet currency and the recipient's currency aren't the same, so an exchange rate is involved.
How the rate works
When you pick a different destination currency, Paysavo shows you a live exchange rate for the amount you're sending. That rate is checked again right at the moment you submit the transfer, not just reused from when it was first shown — if the rate has moved, or a valid rate can't be confirmed at that exact moment, you'll be asked to refresh the quote before you can continue.
How the payout is chosen
For an international transfer, the payout method is matched against the recipient's currency, not your source wallet's currency — so the methods you're offered (for example a bank transfer, mobile money, or paying directly into another Paysavo user's wallet) depend on what's available for that destination currency, not the currency you're sending from.
Recipients
If the person you're sending to already has a Paysavo account, you can send straight to their wallet by searching for them (name, email, phone, or Paysavo Pay ID). If they don't have a Paysavo account, you send to their payout details instead (such as a bank account), and they receive it through that external method — they don't need a Paysavo account to receive an international transfer sent this way.
What we can't tell you here
Which countries and currencies are supported, what the fee will be, and how long the transfer takes all depend on the specific currency pair, destination, and payout method you choose, and can change — Paysavo shows you the actual rate, fee, and total for your transfer before you confirm it, rather than in this article.
