Why does my transfer say "submitted for review"?

A transfer marked "submitted for review" is going through an extra manual check before it can complete — Paysavo recognizes review-related wording from the payment provider or an internal verification step, not a specific published set of trigger criteria.

Direct answer

If your transfer shows "submitted for review" (or similar wording like "under review" or "pending approval"), it means the transfer needs a manual check before it can go through, rather than being processed automatically end to end. This isn't a failure — it's a distinct in-between state.

How it works

  • Paysavo's system recognizes when a transfer is in manual review by watching for review-related wording — phrases like "submitted for review," "under review," "manual review," or "pending for approval" — coming back from the payment provider, or from Paysavo's own internal verification step for a transfer.
  • When that wording is detected, the transfer is placed in this review state instead of being shown as processing or pending — this is a deliberate choice so you're not told "we're processing" for something that's actually being manually checked.
  • A transfer in this state is not failed and hasn't been reversed — it's paused for a check, and will move to a final outcome (completed or failed) once that check is done.

What to do next

  • No action is usually needed on your end — a transfer in review will resolve on its own once the check completes.
  • If it's been in this state for an unusually long time, contact Paysavo support with your transfer reference so they can check on it directly.
