How to send money on Paysavo
How to send money to another person from your Paysavo account: pick a recipient, choose a payout method, review the fee, and confirm.
To send money on Paysavo, go to Send Money from your dashboard, choose the wallet (currency) and amount you want to send, choose who you're sending to, pick how they'll receive it, review the total (amount plus fee), and confirm. That's the same flow whether you're paying another Paysavo user directly, sending to someone's bank account, or sending to mobile money.
Choosing a recipient
You can search for an existing Paysavo user by name, email, phone number, or their Paysavo Pay ID — sending to another Paysavo user this way ("Paysavo Pay") moves money wallet-to-wallet inside Paysavo. If the person you're paying doesn't have a Paysavo account, you add them as a beneficiary with their payout details instead (for example a bank account), and the payout methods offered depend on the currency you're sending and the destination.
Choosing how they get paid
Which payout methods are available depends on the currency and destination — they can include paying directly into another Paysavo user's wallet, a bank transfer, or mobile money, among others. The app only shows you methods that are actually active for that currency.
Local vs. sending in a different currency
If you're sending in the same currency as your source wallet, the transfer runs directly against that wallet. If you send to a different currency than your source wallet, Paysavo shows you a live exchange rate as part of the same flow — see "Sending money internationally" for how that works.
Before you can send
You'll need enough balance in the source wallet to cover the amount plus the fee, and depending on your account and Paysavo's current settings you may be asked to complete identity verification first (see "Verification requirements for sending money"). Every transfer amount is checked against the minimum and maximum allowed for that currency and method before it can be submitted.
Review and confirm
Before you submit, you'll see the recipient, the amount, the fee, and the total that will be taken from your wallet. Confirming submits the transfer; what happens next (instant, in progress, or under review) depends on the payout method — see "Why is my transfer delayed?" for details.
