Installing your eSIM on your phone
Install your eSIM using the QR code, the one-tap iPhone link (when available), or the manual SM-DP+ details shown on your eSIM's installation page — each order supplies only what your provider actually gave.
## Direct answer
Open your eSIM in the app and go to its installation page. Depending on what your specific order supports, you'll see one or more of: a one-tap "Install on iPhone" link, a QR code to scan with a second device, or manual details (an SM-DP+ address and activation code) to enter by hand — plus APN/roaming settings where relevant.
## How it works
- Your installation credentials are generated per order, directly from the eSIM provider — there is no fixed, Paysavo-maintained list of "compatible devices." What's offered depends entirely on what that specific plan and provider supply (app/Domain/Esim/DTO/EsimInstallationPlatform.php).
- The installation page only offers an option if it was actually supplied for your order — for example, the one-tap iPhone install link only appears when the provider returned one; it's never guessed or constructed.
- Because these credentials install your eSIM permanently onto the first device that redeems them, they are shown on exactly one screen in the app, are not cached or stored as an image, and your identity is re-checked at the moment you open that screen (app/Http/Controllers/Users/Esim/EsimProfileController.php).
## Troubleshooting
- No installation option is shown: your order may not have credentials yet (still confirming), or your eSIM's install window may have closed. Check your order status first.
- "Is my phone compatible?": Paysavo doesn't maintain a device-compatibility list — check your phone manufacturer's own eSIM support documentation to confirm your device and carrier support eSIM.
- QR code won't scan / manual entry not working: double-check you're entering the SM-DP+ address and activation code exactly as shown, with no extra spaces.
## Still need help?
If you've confirmed your device supports eSIM and the install still fails, contact Paysavo support — do not try to reinstall repeatedly, since most eSIM profiles can only be installed once.
