Why was my crypto withdrawal declined instead of going through?
A withdrawal is declined outright (rather than left pending) mainly for two verified reasons — insufficient balance, or an unsupported network for that asset — both of which are shown to you immediately so you can correct and retry.
On this page
If your crypto withdrawal was declined right away rather than left processing, it's almost always one of two things Paysavo can check immediately: your available balance wasn't enough to cover the withdrawal (including the network fee), or the network you selected isn't supported for that particular asset. Both cases stop the withdrawal before it's ever submitted, so no funds leave your balance.
How it works
Before a withdrawal request goes out, Paysavo validates the amount against your available balance and validates the asset/network combination against what's actually supported. If your balance is insufficient, you'll see an 'Insufficient balance' message. If the network doesn't exist or isn't supported for that asset, you'll see a network/chain error instead. Because these checks happen before anything is submitted, a decline here means the withdrawal never left Paysavo — your balance is unaffected and you can simply correct the amount or network and try again.
This is different from a withdrawal that shows as 'pending' or 'processing' after being submitted — that one has already been accepted and is moving through confirmation, and should not be resubmitted (see 'Why is my crypto withdrawal still pending').
Troubleshooting / what to do next
1. For an insufficient-balance decline: check your available balance (not pending balance) covers both the withdrawal amount and the network fee, then retry.
2. For a network/chain error: double check you've selected a network that's actually offered for that specific asset, then retry.
3. If you get a decline message that doesn't match either of these, or it keeps happening after correcting the amount/network, contact support with the error message shown.
