Why does it say this network isn't supported for this crypto asset?
Paysavo checks the asset/network combination against its own supported catalogue before contacting the crypto provider — if the network doesn't exist for that asset (or the asset itself isn't recognized), you'll see a distinct 'not supported' message, different from a network that's just temporarily paused.
On this page
If you selected a network for a deposit and saw a message that the network (or the currency itself) isn't supported, this is different from a network being temporarily unavailable — it means Paysavo doesn't offer that specific asset/network combination at all, or doesn't recognize the currency you selected.
How it works
Before Paysavo even contacts its crypto provider to generate a deposit address, it checks two things against its own internal catalogue:
1. Does the currency exist? If the currency you selected isn't recognized, you'll see "Selected currency was not found."
2. Does that currency support the network you picked? Every supported asset has its own list of networks it can be deposited/withdrawn on. If the network you picked isn't one of them, you'll see "Selected network is not supported for this currency."
This is a distinct case from 'Why are deposits or withdrawals unavailable for an asset or network?' — that article covers a network that IS normally supported but has been temporarily switched off (e.g. for maintenance). This article covers a network that was never offered for that asset in the first place.
What to do next
- Double-check the asset and network you're trying to use against what Paysavo actually lists as available for that asset on the deposit or withdrawal screen — only networks shown as selectable are genuinely supported.
- If you're trying to send from an external wallet or exchange, confirm what networks that platform supports for the same asset, and pick one that both sides actually offer.
- If you believe an asset/network combination should be supported but isn't showing, contact Paysavo support with the exact asset and network name.
