Does Paysavo charge a fee when I buy, sell, or swap crypto?

Yes — a crypto buy, sell, or swap quote can include a per-pair trading fee (fixed or percentage, configured per currency pair) plus a currency-conversion (FX) fee, and optionally a markup, all combined into the effective price and fee shown in your quote before you confirm — this is separate from the network fee charged on withdrawals.

Buying, selling, or swapping crypto on Paysavo can include a trading fee baked into your quote, separate from the network fee you pay when withdrawing crypto out of Paysavo (see "Crypto network fees explained").

How it works
Each tradeable currency pair on Paysavo can have its own fee configuration: a fee that's either a fixed amount or a percentage of the amount you're trading. On top of that, when a trade involves converting between currencies (an FX leg), an FX-conversion fee can also apply, and an additional markup (in basis points) can be layered on for the buy, sell, or swap side independently. All of these components — the pair fee, the FX fee, and any markup — are combined into a single effective fee figure that's calculated and returned as part of your quote before you confirm the trade, so it's reflected in the price and amount you're shown, not hidden or added afterward.

Because the fee is configured per currency pair rather than being one flat platform-wide number, the exact fee can differ depending on which two assets (or asset and currency) you're trading.

What to do next
- The amount and price shown on your trade quote already reflects any applicable fee — there's no separate fee line you need to hunt for elsewhere before confirming.
- If a quoted price looks different from the raw market rate you're comparing it to elsewhere, a pair fee, FX fee, or markup on that specific pair is the most likely reason — this isn't a sign of an error.
