"Address does not match selected network" when withdrawing crypto
This error means the address you entered doesn't fit the format of the blockchain network you selected — pick the network the address actually belongs to, or re-check the address for typos.
On this page
Paysavo checks that the withdrawal address you enter is a validly-formatted address for the network you've selected before it lets you proceed. If they don't match, you'll see "Address does not match selected network" and the withdrawal is blocked until it's fixed.
How it works
Different blockchain networks use different address formats. Paysavo validates the shape of the address you enter against the network you picked — for example, a Bitcoin address won't validate against an Ethereum-style network, and vice versa. This check happens before you can preview or confirm a withdrawal, so no funds are ever sent to a clearly mismatched address.
What to do next
- Confirm which network the destination address actually belongs to (check with the wallet or exchange you're sending to) and select that same network in Paysavo.
- Re-check the address for typos or missing/extra characters — a single wrong character can also trigger this.
- If you're withdrawing to a saved (whitelisted) address, make sure the network on that saved entry matches what you intend to use now.
Note: this check confirms the address *format* is valid for the selected network — it can't confirm the address is truly under your control or that it's the correct destination, so always double-check the address itself.
