Crypto network fees explained

A crypto withdrawal includes a network fee that covers moving your crypto on its blockchain, calculated per asset and per network and shown to you before you confirm.

On this page

A crypto withdrawal includes a network fee, which covers the cost of moving your crypto on its underlying blockchain. This fee is calculated per asset and per network — it isn't a single flat fee, and it can differ between networks even for the same coin.

How it works

  • When you preview a withdrawal, Paysavo calculates the network fee for your specific asset and network and shows it to you along with the gross amount you're sending and the net amount that will actually be received.
  • The fee is deducted from the amount you enter, not added on top — so what you type in is what leaves your wallet, and the destination receives that amount minus the fee.
  • If an amount is too small to even cover the network fee, Paysavo won't let you proceed with that withdrawal.

Troubleshooting

  • If a fee looks different from what you expected, check that you selected the network you meant to — different networks for the same asset can have very different fees.
  • The fee shown at preview time is the one that applies once you confirm within the quote window; if your quote expires, re-preview to see the current fee.
