If a crypto deposit notification is processed more than once, will I be credited twice?

No — Paysavo recognizes a repeat deposit notification for the same transaction (by user, currency, address, and transaction hash) and will not credit your balance a second time for it, even if the underlying provider sync runs more than once.

On this page

No — if the same crypto deposit is somehow processed or synced more than once behind the scenes, you will not be credited twice for it. Paysavo recognizes the repeat and simply leaves your balance as it already was after the first credit.

How it works

  • Every crypto deposit Paysavo credits is tied to a unique reference built from your account and the transaction's own blockchain hash — the same on-chain transaction always maps to the same reference, no matter how many times Paysavo's systems check on it.
  • Before crediting a deposit, Paysavo checks whether that exact reference has already been credited. If it has, nothing further happens — your balance isn't touched a second time.
  • This check happens at more than one point in the process, specifically to close the gap where two nearly-simultaneous checks might otherwise both think they're the first to credit it.

What to do next

  • If you notice what looks like the same deposit appearing twice in your transaction history with two separate credits to your balance, this would be unexpected — contact Paysavo support with both entries so they can be checked.
  • Seeing the same transaction hash referenced more than once in your history without a second balance credit is not a problem — that's the duplicate-protection working as intended, not an error.
