My crypto deposit hasn't shown up in my balance yet — what should I check?

A crypto deposit that hasn't appeared yet is almost always a timing issue — the network is still confirming, or Paysavo hasn't finished its own processing step — rather than a lost transaction; here's what to check before contacting support.

On this page

If you've sent crypto to your Paysavo deposit address and it isn't showing in your balance yet, this is almost always a timing issue rather than something wrong with your account or a lost transaction — the transaction is still confirming on its blockchain network, or it's going through Paysavo's normal deposit-processing step after the network confirms it.

What to check first

1. Confirm the network matched. Deposit addresses on Paysavo are generated per asset *and* network — an address only credits a deposit sent on the exact network it was generated for. If you sent on a different network than the one selected when the address was generated, see 'What happens if I send crypto to the wrong network?'
2. Confirm a required memo or tag was included, if the asset needed one. A deposit sent without a required memo/tag, or with the wrong one, may not be matched to your account even though the address itself was correct — see 'Why do I need a memo or destination tag for some crypto deposits or withdrawals?'
3. Check whether that network was temporarily unavailable for that asset around when you sent — see 'Why are deposits or withdrawals unavailable for an asset or network?'
4. Check the confirmation count needed for that asset — see 'How many confirmations does my crypto deposit need?' A deposit that hasn't reached the required number of network confirmations yet simply hasn't posted, and normally will once it does.

Still not showing up

If it's been an unusually long time and you've confirmed the network and any required memo/tag were correct, contact Paysavo support with the asset, network, and the transaction ID (TxID) from your sending wallet or exchange so the deposit can be traced — see 'How to find and verify your crypto transaction on the blockchain (TxID).'
