Why did I see "Quote expired, please refresh the rate" when sending money?

For an international transfer, the exchange rate is re-checked at the moment you submit, not just when it was first shown to you — if it moved in between, you'll be asked to refresh.

When you send money internationally, the exchange rate is checked again right at the moment you submit the transfer — not just reused from when it was first shown to you on screen. If the rate has moved, or a valid rate can't be confirmed at that exact moment, you'll see a message asking you to refresh the rate and try again.

How it works
The rate you see while reviewing your transfer is a live quote, but exchange rates can move. Paysavo re-verifies the rate right before executing your transfer as a safeguard, so you and Paysavo are both confirming the transfer at a rate that's actually current.

What to do next
- Refresh the quote and review the (possibly updated) rate and amount.
- Confirm again if the new rate is acceptable to you.
- If this keeps happening, it usually means rates are moving quickly for that currency pair right now — trying again in a moment often resolves it.
