Send money transaction limits

Your minimum and maximum transfer amounts depend on the currency, payment method, and whether it's an internal Paysavo-to-Paysavo transfer or an external transfer — check your exact limits in the app before sending.

On this page

There isn't one single sending limit that applies to every transfer — your minimum and maximum amount depends on the currency you're sending, the payment method/rail you're using, and whether you're sending an instant internal Paysavo-to-Paysavo transfer or an external transfer (bank, mobile money, etc.). Check the amount screen in the app before you send; it will tell you the minimum and maximum for that specific transfer.

How it works

Paysavo treats an internal Paysavo-to-Paysavo transfer as a different payment method from an external send-money transfer, and validates each one separately — so the limits and validation rules that apply to sending instantly to another Paysavo user are not necessarily the same ones that apply to an external bank or mobile money transfer in the same currency. If you submit an amount outside what's allowed for that specific currency/method, the app tells you the exact minimum or maximum for that transfer rather than a generic error.

Troubleshooting

  • If you're not sure why an amount was rejected, check the specific error — it will state the applicable minimum and/or maximum for that transfer.
  • If you regularly need to send more than your current limit allows, contact support to ask whether a higher limit is available for your verification level.
