Receiving money on Paysavo
How you receive a transfer depends on how the sender sent it: straight into your Paysavo wallet if it was sent to you as a Paysavo user, or through your bank/mobile money if it wasn't.
How you receive money on Paysavo depends on how the person sending it chose to send it to you.
If it was sent to your Paysavo account (Paysavo Pay)
If the sender found you inside Paysavo (by your name, email, phone number, or Paysavo Pay ID) and sent directly to your account, the money is credited to your matching wallet on Paysavo. You can check your wallet balance or your Transactions history to see it. You don't need to do anything to accept it — it's a wallet-to-wallet transfer.
If it was sent to a bank account or mobile money
If the sender sent to your bank account, mobile money number, or a similar external payout method, you don't need a Paysavo account at all — the money is paid out to that account or number directly by Paysavo (or its payment partners), the same way any bank/mobile money transfer would arrive. Check with your bank or mobile money provider to confirm it's arrived, using the details the sender gave you.
If you're not sure how it was sent
Ask the sender which method they used, or, if you do have a Paysavo account, check your wallet balance and Transactions page first — that will show any transfer that was credited directly to you.
