Sending money directly to a Nigerian bank account (Paga)
Paysavo's Send Money product can pay out directly to a Nigerian bank account through Paga, using the same bank-list-and-account-validation flow as NGN withdrawals.
In addition to withdrawing NGN to your own linked bank account, Paysavo's Send Money feature can pay a Nigerian Naira (NGN) transfer directly to someone else's Nigerian bank account, using Paga as the payout rail.
How it works
1. When sending money and choosing a Nigerian bank as the destination, you select the recipient's bank from Paga's bank list.
2. You enter the recipient's account number; Paysavo validates it with Paga and shows you the account holder's registered name so you can confirm you have the right recipient before sending.
3. Once confirmed, submitting the transfer sends the payout request to Paga.
Before you send
- Double-check the bank and account number match your intended recipient — a Nigerian bank payout goes directly to that account and, once paid out, cannot be pulled back through Paysavo.
- If the account name lookup doesn't return a confirmed name, treat that as a signal to re-check the details rather than proceeding on faith.
If the transfer fails or you're unsure of its outcome
Contact Paysavo support with your transfer reference number so Ops can check the payout status directly with Paga if needed.
