How to add, edit, and delete a saved recipient

Saved recipients are scoped to a currency and payment method, and can be your own account or someone else's.

You can save a recipient's payout details so you don't have to re-enter them every time you send money. Each saved recipient is tied to a specific currency and payment method (for example, a Nigerian bank recipient and a US bank recipient are saved separately, even for the same person), and you can mark a saved account as your own ('Own account') rather than someone else's.

How it works
- When you add a recipient, you fill in the fields that specific payment method needs (these vary by rail — a bank transfer needs different fields than mobile money or an email-based transfer).
- Your saved recipients list shows a masked version of the account reference, not the full raw account number, and is labelled 'Own account' or 'Saved recipient' so you can tell them apart at a glance.
- You can edit a saved recipient's details or delete it at any time from your recipients list.

Troubleshooting
- If you can't find a recipient you saved earlier, check you're looking under the same currency and payment method you originally saved them with — recipients don't automatically show up under every currency.
- Editing or deleting only ever affects recipients saved on your own account; you won't be able to see or modify anyone else's saved recipients.
