- Setting up a Paysavo Merchant account to accept payments Any Paysavo user can create a Merchant profile from their own account to accept payments via a payment link/QR code (Standard) or via API with client credentials (Express) — this is a separate, lighter-weight system from a verified Business (KYB) account, and new merchants require admin approval before they can be paid.
- Paying a Paysavo merchant through their payment link or QR code A Paysavo merchant payment link/QR takes you to a hosted checkout page — if the merchant hasn't been approved yet, or their account is suspended or inactive, you'll see a clear message instead of a payment form, and if the merchant passes the fee to you, it's added to the total before you confirm.
- Accepting payments on your own website with an Express Merchant integration An Express Merchant profile gives you a client ID and client secret you can use to accept Paysavo payments directly from your own website or app, instead of only sharing a payment link — your merchant profile must be approved and active for these credentials to work.
