Paying a Paysavo merchant through their payment link or QR code

A Paysavo merchant payment link/QR takes you to a hosted checkout page — if the merchant hasn't been approved yet, or their account is suspended or inactive, you'll see a clear message instead of a payment form, and if the merchant passes the fee to you, it's added to the total before you confirm.

On this page

If someone sends you a Paysavo merchant payment link or QR code to pay them, opening it takes you to a hosted checkout page specific to that merchant.

What you'll see

  • If the merchant is fully set up and approved, you'll see a payment form: choose your payment method and confirm the amount.
  • If the merchant hasn't been approved by Paysavo yet, you'll see a "Merchant not found" style message rather than a payment form — this usually means the merchant recently signed up and is still pending review, not that anything is wrong on your end.
  • If the merchant's own Paysavo account has been suspended or made inactive, you'll see a specific "Merchant is suspended" or "Merchant is inactive" message instead — reach out to the merchant directly in that case, since this isn't something Paysavo support can resolve on your behalf.

About the fee

Some merchants absorb their own payment fee; others pass it on to you. If the fee is passed on, it's calculated and added to the total before you confirm the payment, so the amount you see and confirm already includes it — you won't be charged extra afterward.
