Depositing ZAR into Paysavo from Capitec Bank

A Capitec (South Africa, ZAR) deposit sends an approval request to your Capitec app instead of giving you an account number to transfer to — enter your Capitec account number, linked phone number, and amount, then approve in the Capitec app within about 2 minutes.

## Direct answer
When you deposit ZAR (South African Rand) via Capitec Bank on Paysavo, you are not shown a bank account to transfer money to. Instead:

1. You enter your Capitec account number (8–13 digits), the phone number linked to your Capitec app, and the amount you want to deposit.
2. Paysavo sends a payment request to Capitec for that amount.
3. You get a notification in your Capitec app — open it and approve the request within about 2 minutes.
4. Once Capitec confirms the payment, Paysavo credits your ZAR balance.

## What you'll need
- A Capitec account number, digits only.
- The mobile number registered to your Capitec profile (not just any phone number).
- The exact amount you intend to approve — it must match what you enter on Paysavo.

## If nothing happens in your Capitec app
- Double-check the account number and linked phone number are correct — a mismatch is the most common reason no prompt arrives.
- Confirm you're checking the same Capitec app account tied to that phone number.
- If you still don't get a request after a few minutes, start the deposit again rather than waiting indefinitely — do not assume the first attempt is "still processing."

## Good to know
This is a South-Africa-specific rail — it's separate from Paysavo's general mobile money deposit flow (used in countries like Ghana, Kenya, and others) and from Paysavo's bank-transfer virtual account deposits (used for currencies like NGN and GHS). Capitec is currently the only ZAR deposit path surfaced in the product.
