Why does my bank-transfer deposit show as "Pending" before it's "Completed"?

For deposits made by bank transfer (ACH, wire, SEPA, SPEI, PIX, and similar rails), Paysavo waits for a final confirmation from its banking partner before crediting your wallet — an earlier-looking "funds received" event is not yet safe to treat as final, so you may briefly see Pending or Under Review before Completed.

Short answer: Paysavo doesn't credit your wallet the instant a bank-transfer deposit is initiated. It waits for a final, confirmed event from its banking partner, because an earlier-stage event can still be reversed.

When you deposit by bank transfer (ACH, wire, SEPA, SPEI, PIX, or a similar local rail), the deposit passes through several stages before your wallet balance changes:

  • Pending — the transfer has been scheduled, received, or submitted, but is not yet final. Money at this stage can still fail or be reversed before it settles, so Paysavo does not credit your wallet yet.
  • Under Review — the deposit has been held for manual review by Paysavo's banking partner. No funds are credited while a deposit is in this state.
  • Completed — the transfer has fully settled. This is the only point at which your wallet balance is credited.
  • Returned — the funds could not be delivered and were sent back. If your wallet had already been credited (which should not normally happen before Completed), Paysavo flags this for manual reversal review rather than silently reducing your balance.

If your deposit has been sitting in Pending or Under Review for an unusually long time, contact support with your transaction reference so the underlying status can be checked.

Note: a small "microdeposit" you may sometimes see associated with a bank-transfer setup is a verification step only — it never represents actual funds you deposited and is never credited.
