Troubleshooting: I can't log in to my Paysavo account
Most login problems come down to a wrong password, an unrecognized device needing verification, or a 2FA code — work through those first before contacting support.
If you can't log in to Paysavo, work through these in order before contacting support:
1. Check your password. Make sure you're using the correct email and password; use the password reset option if you're not sure.
2. Check for a device verification prompt. Logging in from a device or browser Paysavo doesn't recognize as trusted can trigger a verification step (an email code, for example) before you're let in — this is expected, not an error. See 'Managing your trusted devices and login history'.
3. Check for a 2FA prompt. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you'll be asked for a code from your authenticator app (or another enabled method) after your password. If you've lost access to your authenticator app, see 'I lost access to my authenticator app — what now?' rather than repeatedly retrying.
4. Check whether you recently changed your password, recovery codes, passkey, or 2FA. For 24 hours after certain security changes, Paysavo puts a temporary hold on some sensitive actions as a precaution — this is about protecting the account, not blocking login itself, but can affect what you can do right after logging in.
If none of that works
Contact Paysavo support and let them know exactly which step you're stuck on (password, device verification, or 2FA) — that narrows down what's actually happening much faster than 'I can't log in' alone.
