What checking your verification status actually shows you
A verification status check only ever returns your session's raw status and never itself marks your account as verified - only Paysavo's backend processing does that.
Short answer: When the app checks your identity-verification session's status, that check returns only two things - the session identifier and its current status - and it can never mark your account as verified by itself. Your account only actually becomes verified through Paysavo's own backend processing of the completed verification.
How it works: This status check is scoped strictly to you: it will only ever return a session that is already tied to your account, or whose provider-side reference matches your own stored reference. Any other case - including a session that doesn't exist at all - returns the same "not found" response, so this check can't be used to look up someone else's verification progress. If the check shows your session as completed, that's a signal for the app to refresh your actual account status - not the thing that activates it.
