How funding your Paysavo virtual card works
Your Paysavo virtual card spends from a card balance that you fund by moving money from your Paysavo wallet — it isn't loaded automatically from your whole wallet balance.
On this page
Your Paysavo virtual card has its own balance, separate from your main wallet balance. To have money available to spend on the card, you move funds from your Paysavo wallet into your card balance — the card doesn't draw on your full wallet balance automatically for every purchase.
How it works
When you create your virtual card, Paysavo sets up the account that holds your card's funds. Adding funds moves money from your wallet into that card balance; if you want money back in your regular wallet, you move it the other way. Your card is created with a default currency (USD) unless you choose otherwise when setting it up.
Troubleshooting
- If a card purchase is declined for insufficient funds, check your card balance specifically, not just your overall wallet balance — the card only spends what's been moved onto it.
- If you just added funds and don't see them reflected on the card yet, check your card's recent transactions/activity in the app before adding funds again, to avoid a duplicate transfer.
- If a fund transfer to or from your card doesn't go through, try again after a moment; if it keeps failing, contact support with the amount and approximate time.
