What to do if your Paysavo card is lost or stolen
Freeze your Paysavo virtual card instantly from the app the moment you notice it's lost, stolen, or compromised, then contact support — freezing blocks new spending immediately while you sort out next steps.
On this page
If your Paysavo card is lost, stolen, or you suspect someone else has your card details, freeze it immediately from the app — this is the fastest way to stop new transactions. Then contact Paysavo support to report it and get help with next steps.
How it works
Freezing your card takes effect right away and blocks new spending on that card without deleting it — you can unfreeze it yourself later if you simply misplaced it and found it again, or leave it frozen and contact support if it's genuinely lost, stolen, or compromised. You'll get a notification in the app confirming the freeze (and again when/if it's unfrozen).
What to do next
1. Open the app and freeze your card immediately — do this before anything else.
2. Contact support to report the card as lost, stolen, or compromised.
3. Review your recent card transactions for anything you don't recognize, and report any unauthorized charges to support so they can be looked into.
4. If you find the card again and are confident it wasn't compromised, you can unfreeze it yourself from the app.
