Updating your profile and contact details

You can update your name, phone number, and address yourself from your Paysavo profile settings; a phone number change requires a verification code, and an address change goes through a proof-of-address submission — we did not find a self-service email-change option, so contact support if you need your email address changed.

On this page

Most of your profile details can be updated yourself from Settings > Profile, but a couple of fields go through an extra verification step rather than saving instantly.

What's self-service

  • Name (first/last name): editable directly from your profile settings; Paysavo validates it's letters only before saving the change.
  • Password: changeable from the profile/security section.
  • Two-factor authentication and passkeys: you can enroll, verify, and toggle these yourself from your profile's security settings.
  • Profile photo / QR code: these are self-service uploads/updates.

What needs an extra verification step

  • Phone number: adding, changing, or removing the phone number on your account goes through a verification-code flow — Paysavo sends a code to confirm you actually control the new number before it's saved, rather than saving it instantly like your name.
  • Address: changing your address goes through a proof-of-address submission rather than a plain text field edit, and Paysavo tracks whether that proof has been reviewed.

What we could not confirm as self-service

We did not find a self-service option to change the email address on file for a Paysavo account. If you need your email changed, contact support directly rather than looking for it in profile settings.

What to do next

1. Go to your Paysavo profile/settings page.
2. For your name, edit and save directly.
3. For your phone number, use the add/update phone flow and enter the verification code sent to the new number.
4. For your address, submit proof of address when prompted and wait for it to be reviewed.
5. For anything not listed as self-service above (like your email), contact support.
