Why did my mobile top-up quote expire?
A mobile top-up price is locked into a quote valid for a short window; the quote can only be used once, and an expired, already-used, or cancelled quote must be replaced with a fresh one before you can complete the top-up.
On this page
Mobile top-ups on Paysavo are priced through a quote step, and that quote is only good for a short window and for one completion attempt.
How it works
When you select an operator and amount, Paysavo prices the top-up and returns a quote that's valid for about 10 minutes. You then complete the top-up against that specific quote — Paysavo uses the amount, fee, exchange rate, and even the recipient's phone number exactly as they were locked into the quote, not whatever you might have typed on a later screen.
A quote can only be completed once. Once it's used (or if you cancel out of the flow), it can't be reused for a second top-up.
Troubleshooting
- "Quote has expired. Please request a new quote." — you took longer than the validity window to confirm; go back and re-select the operator/amount to get a fresh quote.
- "Quote has already been used." — this quote already completed a top-up; check your transaction history before assuming nothing happened, then start a new top-up if you need another one.
- "Recipient phone is missing for this quote. Please request a new quote." — this is an internal safety check and, in practice, means the same thing as an expired quote: get a fresh one and try again.
